2012 summer holiday planning

The kids have only just gone back to school after their summer holidays, but travel companies don’t rest on the laurels, they have started planning for summer holiday season 2012.

EasyJet have already released its summer 2012 schedule and our pre existing travel insurance customers have plenty of destinations to choose from for their next jaunt, Easyjet have more than 110,000 flights on sale to 300 destinations.  The budget carrier has made 18 million seats available for travel between 25th March and 2nd September 2012.
Peak summer seats for the carrier’s newest base at Southend airport have also gone on sale for the first time to various destinations in Spain and the Balearics, along with Holland, Northern Ireland and Portugal.  Capacity has also been added to destinations including Barcelona, Alicante, Madrid and Rome.
The key to getting the cheapest flight for your trip is to book early, however if you are paying out for your holiday months in advance it is always advisable to buy holiday insurance at the same time you book your flight, particularly if you have a pre existing medical condition and you require travel insurance for medical conditions cover.   Trip insurance will give you cancellation cover on your flight or holiday from the day of purchase, giving you extra comfort if you are booking next year’s summer holiday before you have even finished unpacking, washing and ironing this contents of this year’s holiday suitcase.
