Way back in January, we announced our new monthly prize draw which allows one lucky Insurancewith customer to win a £15 Amazon Voucher – just for leaving a review about their travel insurance experience on our TrustPilot page.
TrustPilot is a site which allows our customers to leave any feedback they may have about all of the Insurancewith products, services and prices. We receive an incredible number of supportive and comments and a few critical, each month, good or bad, they are all highly appreciated as this gives us the feedback we need to improve our Insurancewith customer experience. Our prize draw selects a winner from the huge range of customers who choose to provide us with feedback on the TrustPilot page each month.
I am really happy to announce that the winner of the July prize draw is Mr Eavers from Greater Manchester who had a delightful experience with Insurancewith. After contacted other ‘cancer-friendly’ travel insurance companies and discovering they either wouldn’t insure his wife or were giving an initial quote of around £2,000, he finally contacted us.
He left the following review:
“Having contacted almost all the supposedly ‘cancer friendly’ insurance companies and finding that they either wouldn’t touch my wife for a trip to Canada (my wife has a brain tumour – Glioblastoma Multiforme grade 4) or gave an initial estimate of the best part of £2,000 for a single trip. I finally contacted Insurancewith and am delighted that I did.
Although I was on hold for an inordinate length of time (no doubt due to the popularity of the company) it was well worth the wait to speak to a medical advisor who asked relevant and appropriate questions, was professional, friendly and extremely understanding and best of all gave us a quote of less than £150!!
The company is clearly set up for the benefit of cancer patients (it even stays open until 8pm on weekdays when most other close at 5.30 when those of us who work full-time aren’t even home from work) and does not treat the word ‘cancer’ with the irrational fear and assumption that all cancers are the same, which other companies seem to do. In its information, the company states that it was established by a person suffering from cancer and you can certainly tell.
My wife is able to have the once in a lifetime holiday while she still can (it was top of her ‘bucket list’) and I can’t recommend the company highly enough.”
We contacted Mr Eavers and his wife to notify them of our prize draw and their win and Mr Eavers said this:
“This is a really unexpected and pleasant surprise. I was unaware of the competition. I wanted to post the review solely to let others know about the great service provided by Insurancewith. It’s hard enough coping with a diagnosis of cancer without the added stress of trying to get insurance for much-needed holidays. One of the most important ways we’ve found to handle the terminal prognosis is trying to live each day to the full and fit in as many treats as possible. Insurancewith helped me to be able to make sure that my wife could fulfil a lifelong dream to visit Canada.
I have yet to decide what to spend the Amazon voucher on but it will be something to remind us of our once in a lifetime opportunity”
