More Money Being Raised for Charity This Weekend

Sunday 17th April 2011 is the date of the 31st London Marathon.  The London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet – runners have raised over £500 million for good causes since the race began in 1981.

In these austere times the importance of this level of fundraising cannot be ignored.  There was always the worry that as everyone had to tighten their belts charitable giving would be the first of the cutbacks families would make.   Charities have such an important role to play in our modern society, they pick up the slack from the stretched NHS and offer support and an listening ear to millions of people and animals up and down the country on a daily basis.
At Insurancewith we are very proud to support the medical charities who have offered us guidance and support on a range of medical conditions, in order for us to fully understand them so we can offer a relevant medical screening for our customers, which in turn enables us to offer far more competitive medical conditions travel insurance.  Insurancewith donates £1 from every policy sold to charity, we support the following charities: Fighting All CancersTogether (FACT), Juvenile Diabetes ResearchFoundation (JDRF), Simone Cowland Trust (support for Cystic Fibrosis) and TheHaven (breast cancer support).
Insurancewith have pre existing medical conditions travel insurance policies for specific medical conditions like cystic fibrosis along with travel insurance for diabetics, travel insurance for cancer patients and breast cancer travel insurance.
Please carry on supporting charity in any way you can, be it buying a travel insurance policy from the likes of Insurancewith or sponsoring someone to run a marathon, and even running the marathon yourself!  I think I will settle on buying a travel insurance policy from Insurancewith and sponsoring someone else to do the running.
